The Autoglass® Remote CFM service saves customers the trouble of personally contacting the insurers.
If your windshield or comprehensive / no-fault insurance cover includes auto glass, contact your insurer directly to claim for the damage and identify us as your preferred repair service provider. We handle all the organisation, quickly and effectively, to proceed with your auto glass repair or replacement.
Does your insurance cover glass replacement?
If you have full insurance coverage and your vehicle is damaged, just claim for the damage through your insurer to register the insured event.
- No matter the cause of the damage – a road accident, an act of vandalism, a natural disaster, or a stone thrown up from the wheels of a truck – your insurer pays for the damage from your windshield or comprehensive / no-fault insurance. If you make a claim under your windshield insurance, you will have to wait for our Call Centre to get back to you. We will call or text you about the soonest date, time, and place of servicing. If the suggested date and time or location does not suit you, then use the app to reschedule your glass repair or replacement. If you cannot use the app, our consultant can reschedule for you.
- If you have comprehensive / no-fault insurance coverage, you should identify Autoglass® as your preferred repair service in your claim. Then contact us, either through the insurance company or in person or by phone, and we will take care of the organizational issues. At the end of the process you have a new windshield, side glass, and/or rear glass with the same specifications as the original(s), all free of charge. If your glass damage can be repaired, we suggest this to save you money and time, as well as the environment.
- If your insurance does not cover glass repair costs, contact the specialists at Autoglass® for professional advice, diagnostics, damage assessment and a repair quote. If the damage is localized (spot damage) and only requires removal, you can choose glass repair without replacing the full window. This will save you money. We do not repair cracked auto glass, as this would pose a danger to the driver and the passengers.
